Tastevin Tours focus on providing wine drinkers with tours to suit their palates and pockets. Our trips to France range from a one day hop, enjoying a good lunch and stocking up on wine, to a three-day visit in a wine growing region appreciating its wines and enjoying some gastronomic delights.

There is a mysticism about French wines that can be intimidating for the non expert. We believe there is too much emphasis on the grape varieties and blends and too much jargon on the label - surely it is about enjoyment. It should be easy to drink, enjoyed with a meal and fun.

The special appeal of Tastevin Tours is that we are very flexible and can organise bespoke wine holidays anywhere in France, whenever you want to go.

Keith Brewer, who has spent 21 years at The Bell, Alderminster and Mike Hirst, his long time bar manager, have a special interest in and appreciation of good wines. In conjunction with Guy Boursot, the proprietor of a lovely wine shop in the beautiful town of Ardres, a few kilometres outside Calais, they started Tastevin Tours so that their passion for, and pleasure from, French wines could be shared by many would-be wine enthusiasts.

Guy is a wine expert and regularly writes columns and articles on the subject. He worked for Berry Bros & Rudd in St. James’s, London for many years. Then, after several years in his family wine business, he set up his own enterprise in France so that he could offer good wines at reasonable prices, conduct wine tours, and take enthusiasts on tours of the two World Wars Battlefields.
